Free Treatment at Muara Tawar - Bekasi

Another corporate social activity was held to help the under medication unprivileged people. Through Yayasan Metropolitan Peduli (YMP), a foundation runs by Metland's employee, voluntarily partnership conducted with doctors and paramedics from Central Pertamina Hospital, held a free treatment at Muara Tawar – Bekasi, on Sunday, June 3rd 2012.
Since the registration opening at 7 am until the closing at 5 pm, the desk had been always full of participants. Some came alone, and some were with their family. The total patient reached more than 1700 people. According to our view, complaints from children were mostly about critical itching which caused bleed, besides other complaints such as influenza, ISPA, etc. “I really thank to Metland. Finally I can treat my child who's been suffered from fever since last week,” said Nengsih, a resident who brought her child.
The free treatment event is a corporate social activity series which targeted 10.000 people injured at seaboard area until the end of 2012, as well as a corporate action to support National Social Solidarity Day (HKSN), a social activity run by The Ministry of Social Affairs of Indonesia. The year of 2012 is the third time when the company joins the committee of HKSN, Social Service Work Division.
